EBAS

Welcome

The Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS) is a series of exercises designed for structural integrity and supported range of motion. Through anchoring and initiating movements via the pelvis, the body discovers its ability to efficiently articulate movement through experiential anatomy.

The work deepens the students understanding of where movement comes from, how to align the body and to build a physical consciousness of open pathways of energy for movement. The system helps the learner to override the central nervous system creating new neuromuscular firings supporting a greater understanding of sensorial technique.

  2. Meredith,

Thank you for visiting and your interest in EBAS. I am currently planning a level I Teacher Certification Workshop in Richmond, VA from May 19-23. This will be a five day intensive certification course. We will meet five days from 9-4 daily to practice and learn the system, its flow and its language. By the end of the week you will be well on your way to more deeply understanding the system and how to incorporate it into your work and develop classes teaching the system.

You can contact me for more information at scott@doebas.com. I will be posting dates and information on the web-site shortly as well as creating a page on facebook. You can also join the current facebook page for updated information on classes and happenings in Richmond as well as other parts of the country. Check us out at https://www.facebook.com/groups/186051288091174/

Looking forward to getting to know you and meet you at the certification workshop.

    My best,

    Scott Putman

  3. I am happy to begin the planning of a certification course at any time. I usually do them in the summer months or one in December or early January. Is there a time that would seem better for you?

    Ladies and/or Gents,

My sister Ruby Wiles from Warren, Pa just told me about your program from the Sacred Dance Guild festival, the Sacred Movement of the The Sacred Movement of the Elemental Body Alignment System. I am very interested in your program because I have scoliosis and spondylitis. I workout daily to keep my core tight. I am always looking for new ways to build on my current program. Ruby mentioned that many dancers that attended your program rant and raves about it and she was very disappointed she didn’t attend. Any information you can provide me would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your time.
    All the best,
    Stan

    Hello,
I am interested in your certification program. I took your class at the CCA summer school two years ago and loved it. Just found out you have a certification program. Would like to know more and when you have any dates upcoming. Perhaps you would like to have a course in Charlotte, Would be happy to have you in our studio.

    • Bridget, Thank you for your wonderful comment. I would be happy to discuss the opportunity of a Charlotte certification and the possibility of what the numbers would need to look like for that. I am planning a level I certification for June 2017 with the dates to be decided fairly soon. You will see a post regarding that within the next month or so. If you would like to email me to open discussions about the Charlotte option you can contact me at scott@doebas.com

Hello! I’d love to be able to purchase an EBAS DVD from you. I no longer have access to classes here in Alpharetta, GA, so I’m going to have to do this on my own. Your method of stretching and movement is the best I’ve found, and I want to get my husband started on it as well. Thank you!
